Constitution and Democracy! Are we really following the boundaries?

Democracy, a system which is adapted to give the power in the public’s hand by selecting their representatives amongst themselves and forming a governing body soothing their calls and needs. Opportunely, India is worldwide known as the ' Biggest Democracy ' of the world. But is it? While doubting the fact I have no questions on it being the 'Biggest ' but my thoughts are forcing me to ponder over it's functioning as a 'Democracy'. As every Democracy has its   Constitution   which gives its citizens at least the fundamental rights irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, race or gender. Modi gave Sushma Swaraj great responsibility Former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj is being made the governor ... though A tussle has been created by Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan, in which he congratulated former Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj for becoming Governor of Andhra Pradesh. However, he later deleted this tweet, causing speculation the market became hot. He wrote in a tweet, "The senior BJP leader and my sister-in-law, ex-Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, was delighted to be the governor of Andhra Pradesh and greetings. The people of the state will benefit from your long experience in all areas".  By the time Harshavardhana deleted the tweet, it had become viral. News Agency ANI posted a screenshot of their tweets.
