Justice Arun Mishra of Supreme Court gave a speech at the ‘International Judicial Conference 2020’, the topic of which was - “Judiciary and the changing world.” This was not an ordinary conference.  That speech has come into controversy now.  In that speech, Justice Arun Mishra said, ‘the  PM Modi  is a versatile genius, who thinks globally and acts locally’. Delhi Violence: Questions on governance

The communal violence in north east Delhi is getting worse and the  police must clamp down on them . Delhi is witnessing one of the worst clashes in its history.  Just a few miles away from the central vistas, from where the Government of India runs, the North Eastern Delhi is burning in tthe communal clashes that has claimed more than 20 lives till now and has left more than 190 people are seriously injured. Deportation of British parliamentarian: Modi government not ready of accomodating criticism?

The Indian government has released a statement regarding the arrest and deportation of the British Labour parliamentarian Debbie Abrahams, clarifying that her e- business visa had been revoked 3 days and she was trying to enter India through an invalid visa. Debbie Abrahams said that she had got the e- visa for a time period of 1 year in october 2019. The Supreme court orders for permanent commission to women

Author :- Supreme court has delivered a judgement, upholding the 2013 verdict of the Delhi High Court, on Feb 17, 2020, asking the government to grant permanent commission to women in the Short Service Commission. SC asked to pass the notification regarding it in the time period of 3 months. The women cadets are already being absorbed in the various branches of the armed forces, but they are denied the permanent commission. This was a clear violation of the equality and non-discrimination principle enshrined in the  constitution of India .
