Molitics - Raise Your Voice to Break Through Silence

We are living in the biggest democracy of the world. Our system of governance is of the people, by the people and for the people. But still there exists several social problems and political issues. The main worry is the lack of a platform where people can Raise their voices.
In recent times, Media houses have become the mouthpiece of government. Killing the voice of the people just to please political gods has been a regular practice by so called journalism centres. In these situations, a platform dedicated to the issues and problems of the people is utterly needed.
Molitics - The first ever sociopolitical media is that much needed platform. This is available on iOS and Google Play Store. In the application, there is a feature called Public Issues. Under this, a user can raise his voice, upload pictures/videos and tag the concerned leaders. This feature can be seen as a complaint box where you can share complaint against Leaders/Elected Representative.
This feature is intended to facilitate healthy political discussions amongst the biggest stakeholder of the democracy i.e. people. Be it the corruption in any of the departments, the irritating traffic jams, problems of drinking water, ignorance of elected representative/ officials - write it down, click photos/videos (if needed) and put it on Molitics tagging the concerned leaders.
The issue which affected you and your locality will be visible to all and ultimately the leader will be forced to take an action. Your voice can put a full stop to a problem being faced by several. Also, this will help building a real fact based profile of the leader which in turn will help others as well while comparing two leaders.
To be aware is to be alive. We all have to be alive if we truly love our nation. For this we need to open up our eyes, be concerned about us, our society, our city and our nation.
Start questioning your representatives and raise your voice. Because your voice will be heard only if it is raised.

How civil society, opposition & students responded to the CAA

Amidst growing uproar over the  Citizenship Amendment Act  across the country, the police on Saturday, arrested the Bhim army chief Chandrashekhar Azad, outside the Jama Masjid in Delhi. Though Azad was denied a permission to protest, he was spotted in a huge crowd which gathered in front of Jama Masjid after the Friday prayers. During the protest the dalit leader was seen holding the photograph of B R Ambedkar. Slogans of ‘Jai Bhim’ rang out from the steps of Jama Masjid. Recent crackdown by police officers on peaceful protesters is uncalled for in a healthy democracy. Earlier to this several protests and the subsequent arrest of the protesters took place in the National Capital region. Days have passed, however, the anger against the contentious law doesn’t seem to calm down. On Friday, eleven persons were killed in several clashes between protestors and police in parts of  Uttar Pradesh . Several other States which include Karnataka, West Bengal, Assa...

JNU Violence: Who’s The Real Culprit?

There was a piece of disturbing news that came from   JNU   in Delhi. Masked men and women who were armed with sticks and stones, they beat students and teachers and vandalized property at the university. The mob also attacked a team of doctors and nurses that went to JNU to give first-aid to students and broke the windows of their ambulance. The attack has left 34 people injured.  The campus had been tense for a few months as one section of students had been protesting against the sharp increase in   hostel fees   by the university authorities. Even if somebody disagrees with the ideology of JNU students or any other university,   violence   is not a solution. There should be no place for violence in a democratic and civilized society. Who’s responsible for these attacks? According to reports, a radical group has taken the responsibility for the violence that took place in JNU on the eve of   5th Jan . They could be behind this attack...

Declining Indian Economy: Facing A Tough Time

The recent annual financial stability report released by the RBI on the 27th of December 2019 shows that there’s a structural slowdown in India. The report says that the situation is disturbing. The   IMF   has guided India to take immediate action to revive the economy. Dr. Arvind Subramaniam( Cheif Economic Adviser) and Mr. Josh Felman observed that the economy seems headed for an intensive care unit. How bad is the situation In 1991-92, the Indian economy was facing its worst time ever. The industry growth was -9% and the   GDP   was growing at just 1.1%. Comparing the current situation, the industry growth is -10% and the GDP growth is 4.5%. But, looking at the past data, this growth rate is also under question.  There’s a question mark on GDP figures. It can never be 4.5% as the conditions are similar to 1991-92.  The 2017-18 reports show that the consumer goods production growth rate was 5% and at present it’s -1%. India’s exports were 9% ...
