Several instances of religious discrimination and further marginalization of the Muslims have come to notice in this   coronavirus pandemic . Vegetable vendors are being asked to show their religious identity, demanding their Aadhaar cards, those who are found to be Muslims are not allowed to do business in Hindu areas. Strangely, Muslim women are being refused groceries because of their religion. Not only in private domains, but this discrimination is happening in government domains too.   Also Read:  MIDDLE CLASS AMID THE LOCKDOWN   A pregnant Muslim woman was refused to be admitted to the government hospital, which leads to the delivery of a baby in the ambulance itself which further lead to the baby's death. Another govt hospital has been accused of separating the wards based on religion for treating COVID 19 patients. हम सब महामारी के दौर से गुजर रहे है। लेकिन हमारे सामने इसके अलावा भी कई चुनौतियां और सवाल हैं। मसलन - महामारी के बाद क्या होगा? जो लोग बच जायेंगे उनका भविष्य कैसा होगा? उनकी स्थिति कैसे होगी?   इस महामारी ने अर्थव्यवस्था को चौपट करने के साथ ही दो हिस्सों में बँटे समाज को स्पष्ट रेखांकित किया है.   एक तरफ वो लोग है जिनके पास अपार संपत्ति है तो दूसरी तरफ वो हैं, जो एक-एक दाने को मोहताज है. एक तरफ पूँजीपतिओं की बड़ी डील है तो दूसरी तरफ पलायन को मजबूर मजदूरों की व्यथा। इस महामारी के बीच भी पूँजीपतियों की सत्ता वैसी की वैसी कायम है. इस महामारी से लड़ने के क्या उपाय है हमारे पास? अर्थव्यस्था लगभग चौपट होने की कगार पर है।  घनी आबादी वाले देश भारत के लिए भुखमरी पहले से एक बडी समस्या रही है. महामारी ने इस समस्या को दोगुना कर दिया हैं। जितने भी मजदूर है उनका काम ठप्प हो जाने के बाद उनके पास दो वक़्त की रोटी नहीं है। उन्हें   खाना खिलाने   के लिए तरह तरह की सरकारी योजनाओ का ऐलान हो रहा है लेकिन क्या वाकई ये सब हो रहा है. इसका जवाब तो इस लॉकडाउन के अंत में पता चलेग...

Now they want us soon to go back to work so we can start rebuilding the bruised economies.   I suspect 5G will be around for a long time and if that was responsible for all this, then we will get no respite.
